Both level play golf croquet teams competed on Wednesday 7th June. Chester Centurions played away at Bury on their new lawns at Whitehead Park. The closely fought match ended in a Bury win 10-8. Mark Lloyd was captain, with Trevor Farrell and Sally Slater. On challenging lawns, the Chester Chariots team of Alan Clare (captain), Garry Greenwood and David Boyd lost 14-4 to Bowdon Bandits.
