NW Golf Croquet League – Chester Croquet Club

The Chester team of Chris Slater (captain), Pat Clare, Pete Fey and Mel Hagan were beaten 12-6 when they played away against Bowdon on Thursday 1st September in the North West Golf Croquet League.

After beating Ashby, Durham and Watford in earlier rounds, Chester lost 2 – 4 to Sussex County in the final of the national Croquet England Murphy Inter-Club level play golf croquet competition at Wrest Park on Sunday, 6 October.

Chester come first in this year’s NW Federation Advanced B-Level association croquet league and second in the level play golf croquet league. More
